Blog Post #3

 After I graduate high school I want to study in the medical field like healthcare in college. After that I want to go to medical school and become a doctor.

Registered Nurse
  • Average Salary of $66,640
  • The highest paid RN are clustered in California, including San Francisco, San Jose and Vallejo.
  • It requires a Associate's or Bachelor's degree and RN license.
  • Nursing is very challenging job. You work long hours and work with ill people on a daily basis. The personalities that nurses have are caring, empathetic, emotionally stable, hard-working, and have a great communication skills. 
Nurse Practitioner
  • Average Salary $85K annually
  • The annual salary may vary depending on industry, company size, location, years of experience and level of education. 
  • Nurse practitioners must generally obtain at least a master's degree, and must be both nationally registered nurses and certified nurse practitioners.
  • They should be compassionate, have great communication, confident, dedicated to develop, and critical thinker.
Medical Surgical Nurse
  • Average Salary $44.80 per hour
  • The wages vary based on the region of the country where he/she practices.
  • It requires a diploma program, associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing, and must pass registered nursing license exam   
  • Surgical nurse are very organize, critical thinker, have self-control and compassionate.
